John Heath Travel is a full-service travel agency based in Indianapolis, Indiana. My journey began with my first cruise in 2004 — an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for travel. Friends noticed my enthusiasm and encouraged me to start helping others plan their own adventures.
What began with a few Facebook posts and a small booth at Indianapolis Pride grew into our first LGBTQ+ Group Cruise in 2015 with 95 guests. That number has grown to nearly 500 guests on our annual Post-Thanksgiving Cruise, along with thousands of other travelers booked each year. We’ve also expanded into river cruises, including our first full-ship, all-LGBTQ+ river cruise charter in 2025, with even more planned for 2026 and beyond.
I take pride in helping clients find the right vacation — whether that’s a luxury cruise, river journey, or LGBTQ+ group adventure. Having sailed on more than 40 cruises across seven cruise lines, I bring firsthand experience and personalized service to every trip.
